Description of key information

No testing was carried out using Method 112 of the OECD Guidelines for Testing of Chemicals, 12 May 1981. From structural information, the test material contained no dissociating functional groups with dissociation constants within the valid ranges of the procedures detailed in the guideline. From available literature sources, the dissociation constant of the aldehyde functional group was estimated to be approximately 17 and therefore does not influence the form of the test material over the ranges relevant to environmental or risk assessment.
