Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Skin contact: Wash thoroughly the affected area with plenty of water or soap water. If reddening occurs, seek medical help.
Eye contact:Holding eyelids apart, rinse with plenty o lukewarm water for approx. 15 minutes. If discomfort occurs, seek medical help.
Ingestion: Rinse mouth with clean water. Give 2-3 glasses of water or active charcoal dissolved in water. Do not induce vomiting, immediately seek medical help.
Fire-fighting measures
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Adapt to substances around.
Accidental release measures
Environmental precautions: Prevent large amounts of the substance from entering the environment.
Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: Sweep up spilled material and collect it into a suitable container for further processing or liquidation.
Handling and storage
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities: Keep container tightly closed in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Personal protective equipment:
Respiratory protection: With standard use it is not necessary. At higher exposure use appropriate respirator.
Eye protection: Wear chemical safety goggles.
Hand protection: Wear chemical-resistant gloves (leather, rubber or plastic).
Skin protection: Wear suitable work clothes.
Environmental exposure control:
Prevent the product from entering the environment, water flows and sewer system.
Stability and reactivity
Chemical stability: Stabile under normal temperature and pressure.
Hazardous decomposition products: Carbon and sulphur oxides.
Disposal considerations
Recommended disposal method of the preparation and contaminated packaging: dispose of the packaging in the same way as of the product, together with communal waste.
