Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
First-aid measures general: Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. If you feel unwell, seek medical advice (show the label where possible).
First-aid measures after inhalation: Assure fresh air breathing. Allow the victim to rest.
First-aid measures after skin contact: Wash skin thoroughly with mild soap and water.
First-aid measures after eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water.Ensure adequate flushing of eyes by separating eyelids with the fingers. Obtain medical attention if pain, blinking or redness persist.
First-aid measures after ingestion: Rinse mouth. Do NOT induce vomiting. Obtain emergency medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable extinguishing media: Foam. Dry powder. Carbon dioxide. Water spray. Sand.
Unsuitable extinguishing media: Do not use a heavy water stream.
Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:
Fire hazard: This material is combustible, but will not ignite readily.
Explosion hazard: Risk of dust explosion.
Advice for firefighters:
Precautionary measures fire: Avoid raising dust.
Firefighting instructions: Use water spray or fog for cooling exposed containers. Exercise caution when fighting any chemicalfire. Prevent fire-fighting water from entering environment.
Protection during firefighting: Do not enter fire area without proper protective equipment, including respiratory protection.
Accidental release measures
General measures: Prevent dust cloud formation. Keep away from open flames, hot surfaces and sources of ignition.
For non-emergency personnel:
Emergency procedures: Evacuate personnel to a safe area.
For emergency responders:
Protective equipment: Equip cleanup crew with proper protection.
Emergency procedures: Ventilate area.
Environmental precautions:
Prevent entry to sewers and public waters. If the product enters drains or sewers the local water company should be contacted immediately: in the case of contamination of streams, rivers or lakes, the National Rivers Authority.
Methods for cleaning up: On land, sweep or shovel into suitable containers. Minimize generation of dust. Store away from other materials.Put into a labelled container and provide safe disposal.
Handling and storage
Precautions for safe handling:
Additional hazards when processed:
Keep away from heaVsparks/open flames/hot surfaces. - No smoking. Avoid raising dust. Take precautionary measures against static discharges. Ground the equipment.
Precautions for safe handling:
Wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water before eating, drinking or smoking and when leaving work. Ensure good ventilation of the work station. Keep away from open flames, hot surfaces and sources of ignition.
Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:
Technical measures: Proper grounding procedures to avoid static electricity should be followed.
Storage conditions: Keep only in the original container in a cool, well-ventilated place. Keep container closed when not in use. Store in a dry area.
Incompatible materials: Remove all sources of ignition. Protect material from direct sunlight.
Packaging materials: PVC.Polyethylene.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Appropriate engineering controls: Provide local exhaust or general room ventilation.
Personal protective equipment: Avoid all unnecessary exposure.
Hand protection: Wear protective gloves.
Eye protection: In case of dust production:protective goggles.
Skin and body protection: Wear suitable protective clothing.
Respiratory protection: In case of dust formation use respirator with filter.
Environmental exposure controls: Dispose of rinse water as waste water.
Other information: Do not eat, drink or smoke during use. Wash hands and other exposed areas with mild soap and water before eating, drinking or smoking and when leaving work.
Stability and reactivity
Reactivity: Stable under normal conditions.
Chemical stability: Stable under normal conditions.
Conditions to avoid: Open flame. Sparks. heat.
Hazardous decomposition products: Carbon monoxide.
Disposal considerations
Waste disposal recommendations: Dispose in a safe manner in accordance with local/national regulations. Remove to an authorized incinerator.
Additional information: Handle contaminated packaging in the same way as the substance itself.
Ecology -waste materials: Avoid release to the environment.
