Bilag III-fortegnelse

ECHA har udarbejdet en fortegnelse over stoffer, som sandsynligvis opfylder kravene i bilag III til REACH-forordningen. Målet er at hjælpe registranterne med at afgøre, hvorvidt de reducerede minimumsinformationskrav finder anvendelse, eller der kræves fuldstændige informationer i henhold til bilag VII.

Fortegnelsen blev udarbejdet på baggrund af offentligt tilgængelige databaser med forsøgsdata og ved hjælp af (Q)SAR-modelresultater. Angivelserne for farlige toksikologiske eller økotoksikologiske egenskaber sammen med information om anvendelserne og anden tilgængelig relevant information skal sammenholdes med kriterierne i bilag III.

Det forhold, at et stof ikke er anført på listen, betyder ikke nødvendigvis, at kriterierne i bilag III ikke er opfyldt. Ligeledes kan de reducerede minimumsinformationskrav fortsat finde anvendelse på et stof, som er anført i fortegnelsen, såfremt betingelserne herfor er opfyldt.

Bemærk, at fortegnelsen ikke er et redskab til klassificering, den angiver kun en eventuel mulig grund til bekymring. For eksempel, det faktum, at et stof er angivet som "Mistænkt for at være mutagent", betyder ikke, at ECHA anser det for at være klassificeret som mutagent. Al dokumentation bør tages i betragtning, før der konkluderes på behovet for klassificering.
