Additional information

The derivation of a PNEC is not possible. Justification: Compounds of the Mono-Azo-Yellow Pigments were tested in concentrations far above their water solubility. No effects were observed in any test system. Consequently, no LOEC, NOEC, or ECx - values can be calculated. Since this data is a prerequisite to estimate a PNEC it is not possible to derive this value.

As for the Mono-Azo-Yellow Pigments neither any ecotoxicity nor mammalian toxicity had been found, a PNECoral cannot be derived.

Conclusion on classification

As no toxicity for any tested species of algae, aquatic invertebrates, fish, microorganisms and soil organisms (Eisenida fetida; Brassica napus, Avena sativa, Glycine max) could be found neither in acute nor in chronic tests, no environmental classification is proposed.
