During all analyses in the range of benzo[ghi]perylene (210°C - 230°C) the weight loss of the test item was lower than the weight loss of reference substance benzo[ghi]perylene.

Based on this, the vapour pressure of the test item is reported to be below the vapour pressure of this reference substance, i.e. at 20°C < 1.3x10 -8 Pa and at 25°C <7.2x10 -8 Pa.

Conclusions:
The vapour pressure of the substance at 20°C was determined to be <1.3E-8 Pa.
The vapour pressure of the substance at 25°C was determined to be <7.2E-8 Pa.
Executive summary:

The vapour pressure of the substance was determined using the isothermal thermogravimetric effusion method in a GLP study according to EC A.4, OECD 104 and OPPTS 830.7950.

Since the weight losses of the test item at 210°C, 220°C and 230°C were lower than the weight losses of reference substance benzo[ghi]perylene at the same temperatures, it was concluded that vapour pressure of the substance at 20°C (25°C) is lower than the vapour pressure of benzo[ghi]perylene at 20°C (25°C), i.e. <1.3E-8 Pa (<7.2E-8 Pa) .
