Description of key information

The auto-ignition temperature was determined using a procedure designed to be compatible with Method A 15 of Comission Regulation (EC) No 440/2008 of 30 May 2008. The auto-ignition temperature of EP-2 has been determined to be 290 ± 5 °C (Harlan, 2010) at atmospheric pressure (101.01 to 101.79 kPa).

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Autoflammability / Self-ignition temperature at 101 325 Pa:
290 °C
