Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information
Appearance/physical state/colour: The tested substance is a yellow liquid at room temperature.
Melting point/freezing point: The freezing temperature of the tested substance was determined to be less than -20°C.
Boiling point: The boiling temperature was not determinable as the test item decomposed at temperatures above approximately 150°C before boiling.
Density: The relative density of the tested substance was found to be 1.12.
Particle size distribution: Not required because the substance is not marketed in solid or granular form.
Vapour pressure: The mean vapour pressure of the tested substance was 1.1 Pa at 25°C.
Partition coefficient: The test item was determined to have a log10Pow value of 1.8 (equivalent to a Pow value of 60).
Water solubility: The water solubility of the tested substance was determined to be 3.8 g/L at 20°C.
Surface tension: The surface tension of a 1 g/L aqueous solution of the test substance was found to be 68.5 mN/m. As the result was greater than 60 mN/m, the test item was not considered to be surface active.
Flash point: The barometric pressure at the time of testing was 1026 mbar and, thus, no pressure correction was required. The duplicate determined flash points of the test substances were 140°C and 140°C.
Auto flammability: The test substance was found not to have an auto-ignition temperature below 400°C.
Flammability: Not required as covered by section 'Flash point'.
Explosiveness: Study not required as no chemical groups present within the molecule that are associated with explosive properties.
Oxidising properties: Study not required as no chemical groups present within the molecule that are associated with oxidising properties.
