Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Exposure by skin contact: Remove contaminated clothing. Wash affected skin with soap and plenty of water.
Exposure by eye contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes. Seek medical attention.
Exposure by ingestion: Wash out mouth with water. Drink plenty of water. Seek medical attention if you feel unwell or if exposure prolonged.
Fire-fighting measures
Restictions: No restrictions
Fire/explosion hazard: None
Main combustion gas: Carbon oxides
Personal protection: Self-contained breathing apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Environmental precautions: Do not allow release into the aquatic environment.
Spillage procedure: Scoop into marked containers for disposal as chemical waste.
Handling and storage
Storage facilities: Store in a cool, dry area with adequate ventilation
Segregation: No special precautions
Storage conditions: Keep containers closed.

Exposure controls / personal protection
Where exposure cannot be prevented or adequately controlled, appropriate personal protective equipment should be worn.
Stability and reactivity
Chemical reaction with water: None which is hazardous.
Dust explosion: Under normal conditions of use this material does not present a significant explosion hazard. However, like most organic compounds it is combustible and may form a dust explosion if widely dispersed in air. However, dust explosion is not a hazard as the
substance is imported into the EU as a component of a preparation.
Disposal considerations
Waste disposal from use: Follow local and national regulations for disposal by incineration or landfill.
Contaminated items containing the substance can be disposed of by incineration by burning under controlled conditions at a lincenced waste treatment processor in accordance with any local regulations.
Do not release into the environment.
