Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Seek immediate medical attention. Remove patient to fresh
air. If not breathing give artifical respiration. If
breathing is difficult, give oxygen.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately flush the eyes with plenty of water for at least
15 minutes. Seek immediate medical attention if irritation
persists.
Emergency measure - Skin: Immediately flush skin with copious amounts of water while
removing contaminated clothing and shoes. Seek medical
attention immediately if symptoms occur. Wash clothing
before reuse and thoroughly clean shoes before reuse.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention. Do not induce vomiting unless
directed to do so by medical personnel. Never give anything
by mouth to an unconscious person.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Dry powder.
Product arising from burning: Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide and oxides of nitrogen
and sulphur
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: Fire fighters should wear self contained breathing apparatus
(SCABA's) and protective clothing.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Contact emergency personnel and keep unnecessary persons
away. Use a HEPA vacuum or shovel to collect spilled
material and place in an appropriate container for disposal.
Use protective equipment as detailed in section 2.1.60.
Wipe area down with a suitable solvent.
Handling and storage
Handling: The material should be handled as a hazardous material. Open
handling should be minimized, local exhaust ventillation
should be used. Workers should wear a HEPA filtered
cartridge respirator, latex gloves, laboratory coat or work
uniform and safety glasses or gloves/face shield .
Storage: There are no special storage conditions required.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Material will be shipped in double polyethylene lined fibre
drums. Container size will be approx. 20kg.

Disposal considerations
Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: A611
Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: A632
Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Aqueous streams will be sent to a waste water treatment
plant (A641).
Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: Solvent streams will be drummed and sent offsite for
incineration. Solid material such as residues on packaging
will be drummed and sent offsite for incineration (A661).
Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: The substance will not enter the public domain.
