Administrative data
First-aid measures
Skin Contacts
Remove contaminated clothing.
In case of burns immediately wash area with water for 10-15 minutes.
Wash affected area with plenty of polyethylene glycol.
Eye Contact
In the case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
Inhalation
Remove patient to fresh air.
Apply artificial respiration only if patient is not breathing.
Ingestion
Have patient rinse mouth thoroughly with water.
If swallowed, do not induce vomiting: seek medical advice immediately and show this container or label.
General Advice
NOTE TO PHYSICIANS: Treat by observation and supportive measures as indicated by the patients condition.
Fire-fighting measures
Suitable estinguishing media
In case of fire use water spray or fog, alcohol resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.
Do not use water jets.
Decomposition
Toxic and irritant fumes may be formed.
Decomposition products may include carbon momoxide and carbon dioxide.
Fire fighting equipment/instructions
Not flammable but will support combustion.
Vapours may be heavier than air and may travel along the ground to some distant source of ignition and flash back.
Keep container(s) exposed to fire cool, by spraying with water.
Wear Chemical Protection Suit and Positive-Pressure Breathing Apparatus.
Accidental release measures
Environmental Precautions
If contamination of drainage systems or water courses is unavoidable, immediately inform appropriate authorities.
Personal Precautions
Do not breath vapours, ensure adequate ventilation and keep people away from spillage or leak.
Eliminate all sources of ignition.
Wear suitable protective clothing.
Methods for Cleaning Up
Shut off all ignition sources.
Shut off source of leak if safe to do so.
Contain spillage by using sand, earth or any other appropriate absorbent barriers.
Sweep or shovel-up spillage and remove contaminated material to a safe location.
Do not flush away residues with water.
Handling and storage
Handling
The usual precautions for handling chemicals should be observed.
Ensure adequate ventilation.
Keep away from heat and sources of ignition.
Material can accumulate static charges from material handling management. Bond and ground as appropriate. For additional recommendations, consult and applicable guideline such as National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 77, "recommended Practics on Static Electricity".
NOTE: The Lower Explosive Limit (LEL) for organic liquids can range from as low as 0.5 - 1 %
Use product only in closed system.
Do not empty into drains.
Storage
Keep tightly closed in a dry, cool and well-ventilated place.
Avoid release to the environment.

Occupational exposure controls
Enginnering controls should be provided which maintain airborne concentrations as low as practicable.
Ventilation should be sufficient to effectively remove, and prevent buildup of, any vapors, dusts, or fumes that may be generated during handling or thermal processing. In order to ensure appropriate electrical safety practices are followed, consult applicable standards. These may include guidelines such as the national Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 70, "The National Electrical Code" and NFPA 499, "Recommended Practice for the Classification of Combustible Dusts and of Hazardous (Classified) Locations for Electrical Installations in Chemical Process Areas". NOTE: since this material's vapors, dust or fumes can form explosive mixtures in air, ensure that any potential areas where explosions may occur are designed to minimize potential damage. For recommendations to prevent such explosions and associated damage, consult applicable guidelines such as National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 69, "Standard on Explosion Prevention Systems" and/or NFPA 68, "Guide for Venting Deflagrations".
Keep working clothes separately and do not take them home.
Wash hands before eating, drinking, smoking or using toilet facilities.
Respiratory protection
Do not breathe vapours.
In case of insufficient ventilation, wear suitable respiratory equipment -- respirator with combination filter for vapour/particulate.
Hand protection
Wear plastic or rubber gloves with an estimated breakthrough time of >480 minutes are recommended. The actual choice of glove should be based on a risk assessment of the tasks being carried out. Remember that a glove offers limited protection and may fail through mechanical damage, thus, other protective measures should be used where appropriate. Please refer to your glove supplier to take into account the conditions under which the glove is to be used.
Eye protection
Wear eye/face protection.
If splashes are likely to occur, wear: face-shield.
Skin protection
Wear suitable protective working clothes.
Stability and reactivity
Stability
Stable at least up to 350°C
Conditions to Avoid
Keep away from heat and sources of ignition.
Material may discolour when in contact with copper and/or bronze.
Materials to Avoid
Incompatible with aicd chlorides and strong oxidizing agents.
Disposal considerations
Disposal Instructions
Incinerate under controlled conditions, using incinerator suitable for the disposal of noxious chemical waste.
In the EU, the waste should be classified in accordance with regulations made under the Directive 91/689/EEC.
Waste From Residues /Unused Products
Do not discharge into drains or the environment, dispose to an authorised waste collection point.
The product contains the following organically bound elements: C H O.
Disposal should be in accordance with local state or national legislation.
Contaminated Packaging
Do not reuse empty containers without commercial cleaning or reconditioning.
