Cosmetic Products Regulation, Annex V - Allowed Preservatives

This list contains substances designated as preservatives which cosmetic products marketed in the European Union may contain. The list contains maximum concentration limits and other restrictions. It also contains special labelling requirements, which outline conditions of use and warnings.
From 17 June 2019 cosmetic products containing Biphenyl-2-ol and not complying with those conditions shall not be placed on the Union market. From 17 September 2019 cosmetic products containing Biphenyl-2-ol and not complying with those conditions shall not be made available on the Union market
