Description of key information

The chronic toxicity of isodecyl benzoate as measured by reproduction, survival and growth of the water flea (Daphnia magna) was evaluated in freshwater. No significant effect was observed at the maximum test material water solubility under the conditions of the test, which measured 39 ug/L. The test material did not affect reproductive capacity in Daphnia magna at the maximum water soluble concentration achievable under the test conditions.

Key value for chemical safety assessment
