Details on results:
The validity criteria require that the oxygen uptake in the inoculum blank should not exceed 60 mg/L in 28 days. The oxygen uptake in the blanks did not exceed 60 mg/L after 28 days, therefore, these results support the validity of the test. The replicate blank test systems O2 consumption after 32 days were 11.4, 12.8, and 33.4 mg.
