Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

On the basis of the chemical structure the substance is incapable of reacting exothermically with combustible materials.

Justification for classification or non-classification

The oxidising properties of test substance were screened based on a set of criteria for C&L as outline in the section R.7.1.13 of Guidance chapter R.7a of REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006

- The substance is an organic chemical which does not contain halogen atoms.

- The existing oxygen atoms are chemically bonded only to carbon.

These criteria are fulfilled for the test substance. The test substance is found to be non-oxidising and therefore is not to be tested experimentally. Thus it can be concluded that the test substance is incapable of reacting exothermically with combustible materials on the basis of the chemical structure and is considered to be as non-oxidising.
