Description of key information

The NOEL for the  Mus musculus   was 500 mg/kg bw  exprssed as 2-(2-butoxyethoxy)ethanol.  On a molecular weight scaled basis, the NOEL  for 2-(2-(2-butoxyethoxy)ethoxy)ethanol would be 635.5 mg/kg bw day.  (500 x 206.28) / 162.3.=635.5 mg/kg bw/day 
Conversion factors from NOEL to NOEC for mammalian species Mus musculus is 8.3 (bw/dfi)  NOECmouse=635.5x 8.3=5274.7 mg/kg/diet

Short-term EC50 or LC50 for mammals:
26 373.3 mg/kg food
Long-term EC10, LC10 or NOEC for mammals:
5 274.7 mg/kg food

For the assessment of secondary poisoning, the results always have to be expressed as the concentration in food in order to be able to compare it to the PEC.
