Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The biodegradation potential of the substance in water was determined in a screening study according to OECD TG 301A (DOC Die Away Test) and in compliance with GLP criteria (BASF AG, 1999). In this study 20 mg/L test substance (expressed as DOC) was inoculated with non-adapted activated sludge from a domestic sewage treatment plant for 15 days under aerobic conditions. After 10 days degradation was 93%. After the 15-day incubation period the substance was biodegraded almost completely (90 - 100%). Based on these results the substance can be classified as readily biodegradable.
