Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Aquatic toxicity

The available reliable ecotoxicity results selected for the effect of the substance on aquatic organisms are based on a supersaturated suspension with a loading rate of 10 mg/L (acute fish test) and 100 mg/L (invertebrate and algae tests), respectively, of the test substance (OECD Series, No. 23 (2000)).

Fish

The results indicate that the substance does not effect the mortality of the freshwater fish Gobiocypris rarus after 96-hours of exposure up to the analytically measured concentration of 94.3 µg/L which corresponds to the solubility limit of the test item in test water at a loading rate of 10 mg/L.

Invertebrates

The results indicate that the substance does not effect the mobility of the freshwater invertebrate Daphnia magna after 48-hours of exposure up to the analytically measured concentration of 79 µg/L which corresponds to the solubility limit of the test item in test water at a loading rate of 100 mg/L.

Algae

The results indicate that the respective 72-h EC10 and 72-h EC50 for the inhibition of growth rate of the freshwater green algae Pseudokirchneriella subcapitata are above the highest nominal loading rate of 100 mg/L test substance, corresponding to a geometric mean measured concentration of 119 µg/L test substance.

Microorganisms

In a test according to OECD 209, the 3-hour EC50 value of the test item was greater than 1000 mg/L. The NOEC was determined to be 1000 mg/L, the highest concentration tested.
