Results and discussion

Water solubility
Water solubility:
1.1 mg/L
Temp.:
20 °C
pH:
>= 6.6 - <= 7.1
Details on results:
The detector calibration was found to be linear over the range 0 to 0.8 mg/l of standard solutions in acetonitrile:water (1:1 v/v) with a regression coefficient of 0.9999.
A mean recovery of approximately 80% of Diisoamyl phthalate from fortified control samples prepared at the determined solubility level was achieved and deemed to be acceptable, whilst no significant interfering peaks were evident in blank control solutions.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
Interpretation of results: slightly soluble (0.1-100 mg/L)
Diisoamyl phthalate was found to have a water solubility of 1.1 mg/l at 20°C.
