Additional information

No information on the methods used is available. However, this information is taken from the CRC Handbook (Lide 2008) which is a peer reviewed handbook and can be considered reliable and suitable for use as the key study for this end point. The self-ignition temperature of propene is 455°C. The supporting study (WHO IPCS, 1998) is also peer reviewed reports an auto-flammability temperature of 460 °C and supports the value reported in the key study.
