Description of key information

Isoprene has a Henry's Law Constant of 2815 Pa.m3/mol.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Henry's law constant (H) (in Pa m³/mol):
2 815
at the temperature of:
25 °C

Additional information

The Henry's Law constant for Isoprene was determined using a column bubble method. From carrying out the test it was determined that the Henry's Law constant for Isoprene was 2815 Pa m3/mol at 25°C (Leng et al. 2013). This is supported by calculated results, which indicate a Henry's Law Constant of 8259 Pa.m3/mol and results taken from a published handbook, which indicate a Henry's Law Constant of 7780 Pa.m3/mol.
