Description of key information
AKD is only used under industrial conditions in the pulp and paper making industry, and there is no indication of frequent or long-term human exposure.
AKD is not classified as mutagen category 3 and there is no evidence from repeated dose studies that AKD is able to induce hyperplasia and/or pre-neoplastic lesions.
