Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The substance WS400572 has a very low water solubility (< 1 mg/l). In the acute aquatic toxicity tests the substance did not exhibit toxic effects (EC50) up to the limits of its water solubility in freshwater organisms of three trophic levels.

All available and relevant ecotoxicological information indicate that the test item does not have to be considered as hazardous for the environament.

The NOEC values determined in short term toxicity studies on (i) algae, (ii) aquatic invertebrates, and (iii) fish are > 100 mg/l, thus not meeting any classification criteria. Moreover, no effect on microorganisms could be observed.

Conclusion on classification

Based on the results of the available studies no classification for environmental hazards is necessary according to European classification rules [Regulation (EC) 1272/2008.

No PNECs are derived and no exposure assessment and risk characterisation is performed in accordance with article 14(4) of the REACH regulation.
