Additional information

The acute toxicity of the substance to fish was tested in two guideline studies conducted according to OECD 203 and the German standard DIN 38412 part L15 respectively. Brachydanio rerio was exposed to Tetrahydrolinalool in a semi-static test system for 96 hours. A LC50 of 8.9 mg/l was determined (DSM Nutitional Products Ltd. 2007).

In the second test Leuciscus idus was exposed to the test substance in a static test system. At test termination after 96 hours a LC50 of ca. 22 mg/l was determined refering to the nominal concentration (BASF AG, 1989).
