Description of key information

Data waiver, scientifically justified:
The substance is a liquid. The flash point is therefore delivered as meaningful data (see under IUCLID 4.11). The flashpoint is 25 °C (below 60 °C). Based on handling experience and by evaluation of the molecular structure it can be stated that the substance is not flammable in contact with water. Additional information

Justification for classification or non-classification

The substance will be classified as flammable liquid (Flam. Liquid 3) as the flashpoint is ≥ 23°C and ≤ 60 °C.

The flashpoint was found to be 25 °C.

The classification is based on:

Guidance on the Application of the CLP Criteria, Guidance to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on classification, labelling and packaging

(CLP) of substances and mixtures (dated: 04/2011)
