2-(Dimethylamino)ethyl acrylate is readily biodegradable as shown in the key study which was conducted according to ISO 7827 (comparable to OECD TG 301A and 301E) using the secondary effluent of a domestic STP
In addition 2-(Dimethylamino)ethyl acrylate hydrolyses rapidly into the two products acrylic acid (CAS# 79-10-7) and 2-dimethylamino ethanol (CAS# 108-01-0) which are both readily biodegradable.Information on Registered Substances comes from registration dossiers which have been assigned a registration number.
