Additional information

Two sorption/desorption studies have been carried out according to OECD 106 on five soils (one study on one Californian soil and one study on four French and German soils). Koc was 42 L/kg in the Californian soil and ranged from 15 to 47 L/kg in the four other soils. According to these results and the fact that DMDS Henry's constant is above 100 Pa.m3/mol, DMDS is not expected to bind on soils or sediment. An arithmetic mean Koc of 34 L/kg is considered.
