The substance is poorly biodegradable in water.

A guideline test according to ISO 9439, Annex D was performed using a prolonged test duration of 60 days (BASF 2010). As inoculum non-adapted domestic activated sludge was used. After 60 days of exposure a CO2 evolution <10% related to the the theoretically possible CO2 evolution was measured.
