The boiling point of 1,4 -Butenediol is 235.2°C (BASF AG 1969), as similarly reported in a number of reliable, peer reviewed data sources. These values are supported by read-across to the cis- and trans-isomers of 1,4 -Butenediol cited in a reliable, authoritative secondary source; read-across boiling points range from 131 to 235 °C (CRC Handbook 2009; Riddick et al. 1984).
