Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

No simulation tests on the biodegradation of the test substance in water and sediments are available.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

No data on the biodegradation of the test item in water and sediments are available. However, further biotic degradation testing shall be proposed if the chemical safety assessment according to Annex I indicates the need to investigate further degradation of the substance and its degradation products. The test substance was found to be poorly biodegradable in a GLP guideline study according to OECD 301B (Notox/Goldschmidt 417263, 2005). Due to the results of this test it is assumed that the results of simulation studies would not reveal any different findings. Therefore, simulation studies in surface water and sediment are not performed.
