The water solubility of the test substance was estimated from a preliminary trial that consisted of gentle shaking of an excess amount of the test substance in reagent water at 20°C for 24 hours. The mean measured test substance solubility under the test condition was 172 mg/mL +/- 0.60 mg/mL (CV = 0.35%, N = 3) or 17% w/w . A definitive water solubility trial was not required according to the protocol since the preliminary trial resulted in a water solubility value of greater than 10% w/w.

Conclusions:
Interpretation of results (migrated information): very soluble (> 10000 mg/L)
The test substance water solubility at 20°C is 172 mg/ml.
Executive summary:

The water solubility was determined by the shake flash method according to OPPTS 830.7840,OECD guideline 105 and GLP. No deviation from the guidelines was observed during the test.

The water solubility was determined at a temperature of 20 ± 0.1°C. A preliminary test was conducted to estimate the water solubility. An excess amount of the test substance was shaken in the presence of reagent water at 20°C and sampled after a 24-hour period. A definitive test is not required if preliminary testing in aqueous solution estimates water solubility at 10% or greater on a weight-to-weight (w/w) basis. A definitive test was not performed based on the results of the preliminary test.

The mean water solubility for the test substance at 20 ºC was 172 mg/mL ± 0.60 mg/ml.The test substance is considered as very soluble in water.
