Additional information

One study has been provided in the migrated NONs files available from ECHA for the hydrolysis of N-(n-octyl)-2 -pyrrolidinone. The study follows an EC guideline and is undertaken to GLP standards, however it provides no numerical results for hydrolysis.

The available study states that N-(n-octyl)-2 -pyrrolidinone has low hydrolysis, and the level of hydrolysis is not dependent on pH. This conclusion is taken as valid for the assessment, as an EC guideline has been followed, and the study was undertaken in accordance with GLP standards.
