During dissolution testing the stability of antimony trichloride was tested in air-free ultrapure water. A defined amount of test substance was weighed in a flask and filles with water. The reaction is minitred visually.

Details on results:
A voluminous and white precipitate was observed for batch 1 after giving antimony trichloride into ultrapure water . No generation of heat was discoverable. For batch 2 a part of the compound remained undissolved. The aqueous solutions of antimony trichloride were acescent as shown by the listed pH-values.
