Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In accordance with REACH Annex IX, degradation simulation testing in soil does not need to be conducted if it can be concluded from the chemical safety assessment that there is no risk for the soil compartment. A further refinement of the PECs using additional information on the degradation of the substance in soil is therefore not required.
