Additional information

Oxooil LS9 was tested in an acute toxicity test with rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) according to the guideline OECD 203 (Acute Toxicity to fish). Groups of 7 fish were exposed to Water Accommodated Fractions (WAFs) at concentrations of 1.0, 3.2, 10, 32 and 100 mg/l for a period of 96 hours at a temperature of approximately 14°C under semi-static test conditions. The number of mortalities and sub-lethal effects of exposure in each test and control vessel were determined 3 and 6 hours after the start of exposure and then daily until termination after 96 hours. The 96-Hour LC50 was greater than100 mg/l nominal loading rate WAF and the NOEC was 10 mg/l nominal loading rate WAF.
