Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

No acute toxicity to fish is expected to occur up to the saturation concentration according to the applied ecotox QSAR model.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

As FAV-ES is a UVCB substance with a high number of constituents that all have a (very) low water solubility, aquatic toxicity testing is not straightforward. Therefore, the acute toxicity to fish is assessed using the EpiSuite Ecosar model. Smiles notations were generated for all the identified possible chemical structures of the FAV-ES constituents, and these served as input parameters for the Ecosar model.

The QSAR results show that, for each of the constituents, the estimated 96h-LC50 value is above the water solubility. Therefore, toxicity is not expected to occur up to the saturation concentration.
