Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Conclusion on classification

The substance is considered to be "Not readily biodegradable". As this classification is based on the failure to fulfil the 10-day-window requirement, and the pass level of 60 % was reached in the test, in the EU this finding does not trigger the necessity to label the substance as R53.

Furthermore,on the basis of the available data, there is no evidence concerning persistence, a potential to accumulate, observed toxicity presenting a long-term and/or delayed danger to the functioning of aquatic systems.

-The substance is biodegradable.

-The substance has no potential to accumulate, based on its measured logKow of 1.2 and its estimated BCF of 1.6.

-The substance shows no effects in acute toxicity tests at concentrations of 100 mg/l.

Therefore the substance should not be classified for the environment.
