Accidental release measures

During accident or accidental leak of substance, workers must wear wholebody protective suit TYVEK or TYCHEM, facial mask with filter P3 and protective gloves. The procedure for safe containement of accidental leaks of the substance is described in Accident notice "C-GA-SOP-ASU-542". The removal of the leaked substances is performed with industrial vacuum cleaner for powder materials. The vacuumed material is handled as dangerous waste, that means the waste is disposed to industrial incineration plant. This precaution prevents turbulent dusting and spread of the leaked substance.

Handling and storage

The substance is handled throughout the lifecycle in closed system due to use of closed steel containers with a-b shutters. The containers with the substance should be kept in cold room. The storage of substance guarantees appropriate rigorous containement during normal conditions. The storage room does not have to be equipped with sensors as the substance is in powder form and none of available sensors could detect the substance.
