Differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) was used.

Reaction and/or decomposition of Reaction products of Fatty acids, C16-18 and C18-unsatd. and reaction mass of 1,3-alkanediol, 2-(hydroxymethyl)-2-[(methoxymethoxy)methyl]- and 1,3-heteromonocycle-5,5-dimethanol were observed above
325°C (598K): melting and/or boiling of the test substance
were not observed below the temperature at which reaction
and/or decomposition started. Therefore, the test substance
has no melting and/or boiling temperature.

Conclusions:
Boiling of the test substance was not observed below the temperature at which reaction and/or decomposition started. Therefore, the test substance has no boiling temperature.

The boiling temperature was determined using DSC and the study was performed according to OECD Guideline 103/EU method A.2 and GLP principles.
