Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The effect of 2-Propanol, 1,1'-[[3-3[(3-aminopropyl)amino]propyl]imino]bis-, N-tallow alkyl derivatives on the reproduction of Daphnia magna was assessed under semi-static exposure conditions over a period of 21 days in accordance with OECD testing guideline 211 and GLP requirements. The daphnia were exposed to nominal test concentrations between 0.32 and 100 µg/L. Due to the limited amount of analytical data available, the test results have been expressed in terms of the nominal concentrations. It is acknowledged that test results expressed in terms of the nominal values may have under estimated the toxicity of the test substance because the results of chemical analysis (where available) indicated that measured concentrations were either not achieved or maintained during the definitive test.

There was no adverse effect on reproduction at the concentrations where the parental animals survived, giving a NOEC of 32 µg/L and a LOEC >32 µg/L. Therefore, EC50 could not be determined.

Quality criteria were fulfilled.
