Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation : If breathing is difficult, transport the victim outside for fresh air and maintain her in a position where she can comfortably breathe. If experiencing respiratory symptoms: call a poison center or doctor.
Skin contact : Wash immediately abundantly with water, remove clothes and shoes contaminated by the product. Wash clothes before re-use. Clean carefully before putting them back. In case of irritation, consult a doctor.
Eye contact : Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove contact lenses, if present and easy to do. Continue rinsing. If eye irritation persists, get medical attention.
Ingestion : Rinse mouth with plenty of water. Call a poison center or doctor if you feel unwell.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing media : Foam, powder, carbon dioxide, pulverized water
Inappropriate extinguishing media: Water jet
Particular dangers, products of combustion :COx and NOx
Protection against fire : wear self-contained breathing apparatus and protective clothing.
Accidental release measures
Personal protection : Wear a respiratory protection. Avoid the formation of dust. Avoid inhaling vapors, fogs of spraying or gases. Assure adequate ventilation. Evacuate the staff towards safe places. Avoid the inhalation of the dust.
Emergency procedures : Take away any source of inflammation, have a good ventilation, evacuate the high-risk area
Environmental precautions : Do not dispose to the sewer, nor in the natural environment
Cleaning procedures : Collect and evacuate without creating of dust. Sweep and remove with a shovel. Keep in adapted closed bowls for the elimination.
Handling and storage
Handling :
Appropriate technical measures : Avoid the contact with the skin and the eyes. Avoid the formation of dusts and sprays. Plan a adequate ventilation to the places where the dust forms. Usual precautionary measures for the protection against the fire.
Recommendations against the fires and the explosions: Not available
Advises for industrial hygiene:
Do not eat, drink, or smoke in working area
Hands wash himself after every use
Remove the contaminated clothes and the equipment of protection before entering the canteen
Storage :
Appropriate technical measures: Not available
Conditions of storage : Store in a fresh(cool) place. Hold the bowl closed well in a dry and well aerated place.
Incompatibles materials : Not available

Exposure controls / personal protection
VLE : Doesn’t contain substances with professional exposure limit values
Individual protective measures :
Protection of eyes/face:
Facial protection and safety glasses. Use a protection equipment of eyes, tested and approved according to current governmental standards, such as NIOSH ( US) or EN 166 (EU).
Protection of the skin:
Manipulate) with gloves. Gloves must be checked before the use. Use a technique of withdrawal of gloves suited to avoid that the skin gets in touch with the product (without touching the outside surface of the glove). Throwgloves contaminated after the use according to the current laws and to the best practice of laboratory. Wash and Dry hands.
Protection of the body:
Complete combination of protection against chemicals, typeof protection equipment must be selected according to the concentration and the quantity of the hazardous substance on the workplace.
Respiratory protection:
When the risk assessment shows that the port of respiratory systems is suited, to use a total facial mask with cartridge with typical particles N99 ( US) or of type(chap) P2 (EN 143). If the mask is the only way of protection to use an autonomous respiratory system with total full face shield. Use of the equipment tested and approved by standards such as NIOSH ( US) or (EU) CEN.
Advises for industrial hygiene:
Do not eat, drink, or smoke in working area
Hands wash himself after handling the material
Remove the contaminated clothes and the equipment of protection before entering the canteen
Specific advises for the equipments of individual protection against the fire and the chemical risks : See chapter 5
