Details on results:
The partition coefficient for the test material, whose retention time was bracketed by those of the reference standards, was determined from the calibration curve (y = 0.27663x - 1.10316). See Figure 1 for further information.
Conclusions:
Under the conditions of the study the mean partition coefficient of the test material was determined to be 34,900,000; the mean log Pow was determined to be 7.54.
Executive summary:

The partition coefficient of the test material was determined in a GLP study which was conducted in accordance with the standardised guideline OECD 117 using the HPLC method. Under the conditions of the study the mean partition coefficient of the test material was determined to be 34,900,000; the mean log Pow was determined to be 7.54.

Description of key information

Additional information

The partition coefficient of the test material was determined in a GLP study which was conducted in accordance with the standardised guideline OECD 117 using the HPLC method. Under the conditions of the study the mean partition coefficient of the test material was determined to be 34,900,000; the mean log Pow was determined to be 7.54.

The study was performed in line with GLP and an accepted standardised guideline with a high level of reporting. The study was assigned a reliability score of 1 and considered suitable for assessment as an accurate reflection of the substance.

The available data are considered to be complete and the result determined, Log Pow 7.54, was taken forward for risk assessment.
