Justification for classification or non-classification

According to the criteria of EU Directive 67/548/EEC and the criteria of Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008, (Z)-docos-13-enamide does not have to be classified for carcinogenicity.

Additional information

As the substance is not classified as mutagenic, and there is no indication of hyperplasia or pre-neoplastic changes after repeated exposure, testing for carcinogenicity is not indicated according to Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, Annex X, 8.9.1, column 2.
