In accordance with column 2 of Annex VIII 9.3.1 of Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 studies on adsorption/desorption do not have to be conducted as the substance has a low potential for adsorption based on a log Kow < 3.

The log Koc for MEKO was estimated using KOCWIN™ v2.00 (U.S. EPA, 2009) and was 0.55. This indicates that MEKO has negligible sorption to soil and sediment.
