Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The boiling point was calculated to be 239 °C at 1013 hPa. The normal boiling temperature was obtained by extrapolation from the vapour pressure curve.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Boiling point at 101 325 Pa:
239 °C

Additional information

The substance seems to start to decompose at about 163 °C. In addition using the Antoine-equation the boiling point was calculated to be 239 °C and was reported from GESTIS database to be 235 °C.

A study was conducted according to OECD TG 113 to determine the boiling point of the test substance. Using the Differential Scanning calorimetry (DSC) no boiling point was determined up to 500 °C. The Substance decomposes at 265 °C.
