Списък по приложение III

ECHA състави списък на веществата, които е вероятно да отговарят на критериите по приложение III към регламента REACH. Целта е да се подпомогнат регистрантите при определяне дали са приложими намалени изисквания за информация, или е необходимо да предоставят пълния набор информация по приложение VII.

Списъкът е изготвен въз основа на експериментални данни от публично достъпни бази данни и на резултати, получени от (Q)SAR модели. Показателите за опасни токсикологични и екотоксикологични свойства, както и информацията за употреби и друга налична свързана информация, следва да бъдат сравнени с критериите по приложение III.

Фактът, че дадено вещество не е в списъка, не означава обезателно, че не са изпълнени критериите по приложение III. Аналогично, ако дадено вещество е в списъка, регистрантът може въпреки всичко да се възползва от намалени изисквания за информация, стига да има основания за това. 

Имайте предвид, че регистърът не е инструмент за класификация, а само показва поводите за безпокойство. Например фактът, че дадено вещество е определено като „предполагаем мутаген", не означава, че ECHA го счита за класифициран мутаген. Преди да се направи заключение относно необходимостта за класифициране, трябва да се вземат предвид всички доказателства.
