Synchronise IUCLID with exposure information generated by Chesar
ECHA/NA/14/03
The new version of the IUCLID Report Generator imports exposure assessment information generated in the Chemical safety assessment and reporting tool (Chesar) to the relevant IUCLID sections.
Helsinki, 31 January 2014 – The updated plug-in allows users to report exposure assessment data in IUCLID (sections 3.7.1 and 3.7.2) when Chesar has been used for generating this information. The plug-in assistant will guide you through the various steps necessary for synchronising the data between the two tools and for generating the full chemical safety report.
To make best use of the plug-in, ECHA recommends using Chesar to prepare chemical safety assessments to improve consistency and standardisation of the chemical safety report.
More information about the functionalities of the update is available in the release notes. Installation manuals are included in the installation packages that can be downloaded from the IUCLID website.
Background
The IUCLID Report Generator supports the creation of chemical safety reports (CSRs) under REACH and replaces the CSR plug-in. It also helps applicants in preparing the summary of product characteristics (SPCs) for biocidal product authorisation applications.
