More information on dossier evaluation processes available

ECHA/NR/18/57

Registrants can now consult a single table to find out whether ECHA is evaluating dossiers for a particular substance and follow the progress through the evaluation process. The table is part of the update to the public activities coordination tool PACT.

Helsinki, 18 October 2018 – The new page on ECHA’s website brings together information on the type, scope and status of the assessment undertaken for a given dossier. You will be able to see whether ECHA has opened a compliance check for a substance, and subsequently track the progress from the draft to the adopted decision to when the evaluation is eventually closed. The page also shows information on the progress of testing proposal evaluations.

Shortly after the evaluation decision is adopted, a non-confidential version of the decision will be available. The date on which the decision was adopted and sent to the registrants is then also published.

The new page replaces both the previous page hosting the non-confidential versions of adopted decisions and the list of substances potentially subject for compliance checks.

Registrants can use information on this page as a last reminder to update their dossier e.g. regarding use and tonnage information.
