New CLH public consultation launched on the pesticide Fluopyram
The public is invited to comment on the harmonised classification and labelling (CLH) proposal of the pesticide Fluopyram. Fluopyram is a fungicide, and the dossier submitter is proposing harmonised classification for carcinogenicity and the environmental hazards.
The public consultation opened on 9 October 2013, and the deadline for submitting comments is 25 November 2013.
Harmonised entries in C&L Inventory now translated
The public C&L Inventory now shows translated names for the harmonised entries in Annex VI of the CLP Regulation for those entries included in the regulation's adoption in December 2008. The project was developed in collaboration with 22 EU Member States and Norway that provided the language translations of the entries. When a user clicks on the name in the International Chemical Identification column on page 2 of the C&L Inventory, the translations appear in a pop-up window.
A survey of first-time SME registrants who submitted dossiers for the 2013 registration deadline was launched on 30 September, with individual emails sent to all applicable registrants.
With the 2018 registration deadline in mind, we want to understand the challenges that SMEs have faced in complying with REACH. The results of the survey will help us to plan, adapt and improve our support for SMEs in the coming years.
The survey will remain open until Friday 11 October.
