Six-month deadline for notifying ECHA about the presence in articles of the seven substances added to the June 2011 Candidate List is approaching
ECHA reminds producers and importers of articles containing any of the seven substances included in the Candidate List in June 2011 that they must notify ECHA by 20 December 2011 at the latest. As further support to the companies who have to comply with this deadline, the Questions & Answers on notifications on the ECHA website has been updated and now provides, among other things, some further guidance on tonnage calculations, timing of notifications and derogations.
The ECHA website also provides links to the notification tools, guidance documents and the submission manual.
